American Consumers Network
64What is the American Consumers Network?
It seems to me,that the days of old are just that in fact. The days where you actually recieved what you payed for and the services you subscribed to really did what they said they were going to do,have sadly become a thing of the past. The time when you purchased something and got home with it and it worked, has now become a gamble that you willingly take part in.Will this radio work or will I have to take it back and gamble on another?Time and fuel money seeming to be of no concern to the store having sold a poor product to a trusting consumer...A friendly customer rep? So,rare that when you actually speak with one that is helpful and curtious, you can't help but share your joy with every one you talk to that day..You brag about how great it was to finally get what every company should use as common day to day practices..Why is this acceptable business practice? The sad news is,we are at fault..The consumer. As long as we allow the businesses to follow these types of practices, they will. They will keep making us feel as if they are doing us a favor.I have news, they are not .The roles have been reversed and the tables are turned. For to long now,we have taken the short end of the stick and asked for more...Times they are 'a' changin.....Welcome and become part of,the American Consumers Network....We will change the way businesses do business..

Taking back what is rightfully ours.
It is my hope and intention to be able to turn this one little HubPage into what we will call the ACN.(american consumers network)If you have read the article, then you have an idea of why it is needed.I picture, card carrying members that are able to research on an ACN website before shopping for their product or services. The website itself will be filled with product and service experience by the members,to be used by the members. After the numbers of members has grown large enough, then we may begin to really hold these businesses accountable for their actions..Whether it be Walmart or a small gas station..When that level of membership is achieved, then we can begin to talk to some businesses and ask if they want to be listed on the website as a guaranteed quality product or service provider and by doing this, they are assuring us that they will adhere to the standards in american business practice that we have reastablished. Here's how I see it..A member of ACN goes into a store and buys a product or a service.Due to legitamate reasons is unhappy with said product or services..They log onto the website, list the company and a brief explanation of their experience..Not only will we as other members be able to get that information about that company ahead of time(saving money)but as the list grows about a specific company,we begin to build a list of unsatisfied customers all over the country. That is a list that we could work with to really change the way business is done,I invision chapters of ACN in every state, where we the consumers take back what never should have gone away in the first place. If the company we have dissatisfaction with will not take us seriously,we as an entire unit stop buying their products or sevices and make it clear that the loss of sales is a direct result of their own poor business practice and that we as American consumers are not going to waste our money with them anymore.Shape up or ship out..I am sick of being treated this way and if you also are tired of it,leave me a comment or an experience.I would be happy to listen and really happy to know there are more people out there that are fed up and ready to do something about this. Thanks for reading my hub and I hope to hearing from you as an ACN member when I get this up and running..No more wooden nickels.T.Williams
